Job Summary
Our client, a highly regarded industry leader in the food/beverage space has asked us for assistance in finding someone with exceptional skills for the role of Sr. Maintenance Manager. This position will be based in New Orleans metro area with full relocation provided.
Our client is committed to hiring the best of the best so the total compensation package being offered will reflect that, but they are targeting +/- $170k base lucrative bonus.
The Sr. Maintenance Manager must have the ability to lead/coordinate/manage, maintenance, repair, and reliability programs for a large Sugar refinery. In this position, he/she will be responsible for managing a team of Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Supervisors and technicians to maintain safe, reliable, efficient operation of the refinery. They will be responsible for executing the structured work processes, and systems necessary to achieve and sustain both the Reliability Engineering and Maintenance Planning missions. Likewise, create a proactive culture by developing people to value asset reliability, planning, and Reliability Excellence. He/she will report directly to the Assistant General Manager and work in a team environment with the other department heads. 2-5 salaried direct reports, 8-12 salaried non reports & 50+ hourly.
Critical Required Skills (Must?Have)
Candidates must possess all of the following (these will be treated as non?negotiable screening criteria):
- Minimum 8-10 years? experience in a manufacturing environment
demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Experience with the RCM process, failure mode identification, defect analysis, cause and effect analysis, loss elimination, determination of probability, and consequence of failures; along with the use of FMEA?s, RCFA decision logic, and writing tasks to mitigate identified failures required
- Experience with the following, not all required: belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators and cranes, evaporators, condensers, heat exchangers, piping, pumps, motors, blowers, generators, gearboxes, rotary dryers, kilns, and vacuum pans (experience with most of listed)
- Experience identifying, implementing, or executing organizational changes
- Degree in Engineering: B.Ch.E., BSEE, BSME
